S. McCredie David attended Flint Public schools, graduating from Flint Central High School in 1957. He graduated from Albion College in 1961 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree majoring in Economics. After serving in the U.S. Marine Corp., he became an agent with Piper McCredie Agency, Inc. (then known as the Piper Agency). Since that time, he has held every managerial position in the agency including President. He has been instrumental in bringing specialty lines of insurance into the agency including auto racing insurance, aviation insurance, and pollution liability for gasoline tanks. His community activities include serving on the boards of an insurance company, a hospital, a bank, the YMCA, the Aviation Insurance Association, Bishop Airport Authority, the local Independent Insurance Agents Association, as well as a collegiate Professional Management Council. David is married and has two sons and two grandchildren. Outside of his family, he enjoys flying, having been a pilot for many years. |
